Recent Update:

Players who haven’t signed up but would still like to play can pay the league fee and be placed on the waitlist.

Players on the waitlist typically play each week as a sub for a team that is short a player. This is not a guarantee but waitlist players usually play a lot
Waitlist players are required to attend the evaluation so managers can rank them.
When a spot opens up, a player from the waitlist can be placed permanently on a team.
Teams can only pick up a waitlist player who is ranked similarly to the player they lost. Thus, being first in line on the waitlist isn’t necessarily important.
Inevitably we need players from the waitlist each season due to injuries, players moving, etc.
